Some say that the "contact to come to an agreement" letter/email is a last shot across the bows before they discontinue. No idea if that's the case here though.
That would be a relief, but not sure as they sent a heck a lot of pictures from the car park!

When I first received the mountain of photos in my IAS appeal, I was a bit set back, but then when I checked them out properly, I found images that showed the signage was faded and unreadable, plus they were 5 year old photos at best. Just because the signs were there 5 years years ago, doesn't mean they were there at the time of parking. I then used google maps and it's ability to go back to different time periods to prove my case further.. see if you can use their own evidence against them, and good luck!

    Charges currently stand at £160.

£60 of which they know is unlawful.

No need to panic just because BW have replied with what you always knew they would say, wouldn't they?  Nothing has changed as long as your old address has been erased by the parking firm, so no claim goes to an old address.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Hi guys.

This is going to be my reply to BW. Sound ok? I'll guess we'll see what happens next!

    Afternoon,

Two letters were sent to the DVLA updating our address correctly; including the registered keeper of the vehicle logbook, so there must be a mistake at their end, or one of the letters got lost in the postal system. As I said previously, the matter would have been dealt with at the time had I received the original parking charge notice.

We have also contacted our phone provider who has informed us that they no longer have records as two years have passed and it's been deleted because of data protection. You will, of course, be aware of the GDPR rules; hence why your letter was sent to our new address after these two years had lapsed. We were only following what NCP instructed us to do.

As I stated in my previous email, we dispute your unlawful charges. I see no reason to continue correspondence, so either your client cancels the PCN, or I will defend it in court.

    Yours faithfully.

Ha! It's not a particularly 'good' afternoon having to email them!

Business correspondence should start "Dear Sir" and finish "yours faithfully" then you don't need to worry what time of day it is.

You might like to threaten them with a counter claim,
