Thanks Cherryfudge and CRANKY40 the dentist went very well!!!! 😁😁😁
Again I had to wait for nearly an hour before I was seen but at least they kept us all informed this time. The dentist was very handsome!!!! So that helped a lot🤣🤣🤣 and he listened to my concerns, he did a check up and the x-rays were clear - yay and then he filled my tooth that has nothing but one side😁 he's not sure how long it will last this time but I'll keep my fingers crossed, I think it was about 6/7 years ago when the original one was put in and I have to go for my next checkup in 6 months!! Oh and I was only charged the check-up price as it isn't a filling as such, so very happy so far! Much cheaper than a new tooth!
My back is feeling much better but before I went out I did take some pain killers as I'm still not too great just sitting or lying😁. It still aches a bit but it's so much better now in comparison to what it was like the other day, thank goodness.
Tomorrow I'm hoping to organise the wood for the new raised bed and hopefully it'll be built this weekend unless it's raining and then I'll have to wait a couple of weeks as youngest DD and partner are on holiday for the week so I'm pup sitting - 😁😁 and it's her partner that's building it for me. Fat club wednesday but that's in the afternoon and then collecting two dgds from after school club and bringing them home here for tea, visiting youngest DD Thursday for the day and Friday not sure!! And so life keeps moving forwards! I'll have to remember to phone the handyman and organise him to fit my new outside lights and I'm hoping to have an outside plug as well so I can get some outdoor lighting for the long hot summer days I'm hoping we get this year🤣

Great to read your post @nannygladys It sounds like the dentist is concerned with more than making money, which is brilliant. Hope the 'filling' does the job for a good length of time. You are getting so many 'small' jobs done that will make life so much better for you. I think it's the 'little things' that often make such a big difference to our enjoyment of life. (((hugs))) XI Believe.....

Makingabobor2 - the filling is holding out - it makes up 3/4 of the tooth - it's a biggy !!!!!

It's a funny couple of days here! I've been hard at work in the garden with the raised beds and seed planting, so there's trays all over the place 🤣🤣🤣 I'm hoping a lot of it grows so I can get it all planted ready for summer and winter eating 😁
The cars engine light came on last week and went into the garage today and it's not good news but is it ever with cars🤔 but the light has gone off at the moment after their tests so I'm hoping to get some money together before it appears again as it's not a cheap fix.
I keep meaning to get in touch with the handyman to do a few more small jobs so that may be tomorrows aim for the day, I've already had the quote and allocated the money for him so it's just a matter arranging it.
Other than that life is glorious🤣🤣🤣 and will improve every day.

Taking a little time out whilst I decide what I'm going to do and how I'm going to go forward. I will be back but feel quite deflated at the moment and need some time to think it all out. I'm fine but just need thinking time that's all. Xxx£1 a day 2025: £90.00/365 Xmas fund6

I hope that the weather improves and everything gets growing nicely to help you to feel better and more uplifted. I’m finding that it has been a somewhat dismal Spring so far and having unexpected expenses really doesn’t help a tight situation. Take care xx2
