Wireless speaker(s)

I’m feeling overwhelmed by all the speaker options so looking for some help!
I’m after a wireless speaker I can use outdoors with good battery life (at least 12 hours).
Not after spending huge amounts - £200 max would be ideal.
Wondered if there is an option you can pair with Amazon Alexa devices so it plays same music at the same time in different rooms (basically after a wireless Alexa!)

If you specifically want an outdoor speaker then the Bose Portable smart speaker looks OK, also the Sonos Move.
A cheaper alternative would be the Ultimate Ears Megablast.1 -
Thanks. Bose, ultimate ears and Sonos all seem good. I just can’t work out if they can pair with an Alexa….so both playing same thing at the same time?0

Looks like the Sonos Move will do what you want (add speaker to group of existing Alexa speakers). Couple of issues tho'
1) it's 400 quids
2) it's out of stock everywhere

Thanks. I would probably stretch to that if they was best option! I’ll have a search. If anyone knows of any others that will do that. I’ve tried searching for speakers you can pair with Alexa but it’s not clear with many if they are just Alexa compatible and pair with another speaker (exactly the same) or if they actually work as an extra Alexa speaker.0

I think what you need to find out if any of them are Alexa multiroom compatible. I don't thing the UE Megablast is but the Bose may be, you'll need to check.sarah69696pink said:Thanks. Can probably get any to act as a Alexa speaker indirectly.
Eg Alexa on phone using any Bluetooth speaker.
Sonos roam at £160 might do some of job.

As getmore4less suggests for that budget I'd go with the Sonos Roam, it's wireless enabled but also has Bluetooth capability which is great when you're away from home. Also works with both Alexa and Google, I've got one and it's a great little speaker, tbh I use it more than the Move I've also got as it's a lot less bulky.1

BlueSound devices also work with Alexa: https://www.bluesound.com/voice/. I have a BlueSound Flex 2i which I am very happy with, though I dont use it with Alexa.0

I believe the OP wants to be able to use a multi room setup, so you'd need specific Alexa multi room compatible speakers to do that not just ones that have Alexa voice controls.getmore4less said:Can probably get any to act as a Alexa speaker indirectly.

Again, the OP is looking for more than just an Alexa voice controlled speaker.Linton said:BlueSound devices also work with Alexa: https://www.bluesound.com/voice/. I have a BlueSound Flex 2i which I am very happy with, though I dont use it with Alexa.1
