I am having problems with John Lewis, ordered wood flooring to the tune of£9811.35 paid in full June 9th, phone me after paying ,informing me wood not in, will order and fit first week in September, it’s now 5th October, 5 phone calls, 12 emails later I requested cancellation, informed 28 th sept cheque in post, no it was not. I have inform them I want my money back. They informed they could fit me in ,in December ,to have my flooring fitting. I have said No, now it’s we will be charging cancellation fee’s, we’re do I go from here. Sorry to be so long winded

I would suggest reposting this as a new question rather than hanging it off the end of another one, albeit both are issues with John Lewis.

Raise a claim against your card provider ... they'll probably process it first as a chargeback for non-delivery which will get your money refunded immediately (but the seller has 45 days to contest it, so the money could be snatched back). Otherwise it can be raised as a Section 75 claim (which makes the credit provider jointly liable with the seller for the performance of the contract).
