Make sure you do add the costs of the Warrant of Control to the sum. I am pretty sure it’s not a Warrant of Execution but maybe @bargepole can confirm.

Also you must give VCS time to pay after that phone call you just made, because if they post a cheque now, you will end up out of pocket by the costs of the wasted Warrant.

I’d wait till next week then do it if no payment arrives after that phone call you made.

It is a Warrant of Control, executed by the County Court bailiffs.

You apply on form N323, and add the court fee to the total.

After arguing with VCS on the phone on Friday and threatening them with bailiffs I have received the cheque today for £105. They have somehow managed to overpay me by £10

I won’t be bringing this to their attention, I see this as interest as they ignored the court order!
