Broadband/TV recommendations

Hi all, i am looking at saving money on bills and one that I need help with is my Broadband/TV package.
I currently pay £82 a month for 100mb bb TV and phone (it was an offer I got originally for £40 after ringing and saying I’m looking at going elsewhere).
I know I could get a deal either with Virgin (current provider) or elsewhere. Im hesitant to stay with Virgin as we struggle with a decent signal, there can be upwards of six devices using the WiFi in the evening/weekends. And the hub is pretty much in the centre of the house.
So what I am looking for recommendations for is a provider that is cheap so I don’t need to worry about connections or stay with virgin and get a cheaper deal but get them to sort the hub.

If your issue is the WiFi coverage, you need to work on fixing that rather than changing your ISP.
Providers provide you with an internet connection, from there it is (kind of) your responsibility to make sure that the WiFi signal reaches all the rooms in the house.
If that's the case, you should consider installing an additional (or more) wireless access points in the house.0 -
Plenty are cheap , use the BB checker in Phones section .You may find cheap is cheap .But speed no 100 meg unless OpenReach FTTP is in your street . If not speed will depend upon distances from local cabinet and quality of copper phone line to house .Best is to bluff VM in that you want to leave as XX offers for $$.Decent signal usual is go down the wifi extension or mesh route .0

You don't say what TV bundle you have so your £82 PM is a bit meaningless.....You can get the basic TV and 100Mb BB for less than that.
Call retentions or whatever they call the leaving bit now. Don't accept anything they are offering and tell them you want to leave at the end of your next bill cycle. Then, just sit back and wait for them to call you with a better offer.
I dropped £25 last time I did it, when I first called they offered to knock a fiver off....Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

There is a section on MSE dedicated to haggling for deals.

Virgin Hub wifi coverage problems are easily solved by putting it into modem mode and installing a decent wifi router. Before I did that (with a Hub 3) coverage was poor and it didn't like too many connections at once, throwing one off when a new one arrived. Now with a TP-Link Archer 3200 right next to the hub I get whole house and garden coverage and as many reliable connections as needed. Doesn't have to be TP-Link - there's plenty others around.1
