    Nononononono!

    NO, stop.  Olive please stop.

I just called the legal advice from my home insurance and she said as it was a parking fine they just needed to check my V5 and can therefore prove they’ve sent to my last known address.

I told you to expect that, did you miss it?

They will know the process better than you but you will know the prospects of success better than them.  Parking claims sent to old addresses are well known to the courts and we see every case set aside. Your solicitors won’t know that background and may well blame you for not changing the DVLA address, LOL! Clueless.

Olive, I've said already that once you get the CCJs set aside you can negotiate THEN (afterwards) to pay them if you really want to (we say don't, but we can't stop you).

Can you please stop believing what I already said the legal advisers would get wrong?  We knew they would.

@Coupon-mad It’s just really hard when you’re trying to ask them to help you & they tell you you’ve got no chance because of the bloody DVLA.

I am determined to hold your hand through the process that we do every day, successfully.

We know what we are talking about, we are taken seriously by Government and we are the experts on this subject.

Thank you, honestly I really appreciate your kind words & help so much. I said I’d complete the N244 today but instead I’ve spent the entire day reading the forums and making notes on how/what to accompany it with.

I’ve created a timeline of events X2 to keep everything in order (mainly for my own sanity) & got a copy of my old tenancy agreement check out date, but not completed the N244 as I was supposed to.

I had a letter from Gladstone’s today acknowledging my rectification notice so I wonder if I’ll get a response to that or whether they’ll choose to ignore my request to set aside.

It will be okay @Olive_j - focus on getting the CCJ set aside for now, take it one step at a time. Don’t let it get on top of you, you can do this.

I agree. Which is essentially the same as I said to her, within 10 posts of her original post, over two weeks ago.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

We will get you there Olive but it’s frustrating that we’ve told you all this and I warned you that your legal cover helpline would be clueless and try to blame you about the DVLA address...and yet when they did exactly that you believed them and panicked that you should undo all your good work and start offering the thug ex-clampers money!

I have the following documents dated around the time of the claim form being issued:

    - Gas bill
    - Council tax
    - Tenancy agreement
    - Mortgage statement

-V5 will have been up to date for one of the PCNs, but I think I need to wait for the SAR to confirm the date it was updated?

-Bank statement (is this fine to include with my account balance etc on show?)

-Tv licence - I have realised there is an additional letter in my surname. Should I leave this out, as I presume it wouldn’t have come up on a soft search with the name mispelt?

    - Is there anything else I should look to include evidence wise relating to current address? Broadband etc?
