It's only to back the argument they should have checked. It is not a strict timescale that needs met. 11 months or 12 months is not going to make or break the argument.

Thank you! I’ve just realised I only have their emails for when I requested the SAR. Do you know how I can get the correct contact details for Vehicle Control Services & UK Car Park Management please? I want to be sure I’m emailing the correct one.

pretty sure VCS email appears bottom left of any NTK shown in Google Images.

    UKCPM, try ‘info@‘
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I was going to say it was far too long but, taking into account what @henrik777 wrote, just remove all the repetitive sentences.

Thank you, which parts are repetitive?

Unless you meant to put it in twice: -
As service was defective and not valid, the court must set aside the judgment pursuant to CPR 13.2
    http://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/procedure-rules/civil/rules/part13#13.2
For this reason it is clear that the claimant (Vehicle Control Services) failed to take reasonable steps to ascertain the address of the defendant’s (myself) current residence or place of business (‘current address’).

Tomorrow I need to work on the N244 which I plan to submit next week if I don’t hear back from the parking company.

As I am yet to receive the SAR and therefore know nothing about the parking incident, I’m unsure of how to submit a defence to the actual parking offence itself.

Do I just focus on the notice being served to the incorrect address & me never receiving it?

Hang on ... how long is it currently since you discovered you would need to submit a N244 set aside? Unless your situation is one where time is irrelevant then time is of the essence - you can't just take it in your own time and spend weeks on it.

Sorry are you suggesting I just submit the N244 tomorrow instead?

No, I'm suggesting you wait a few hours for other regulars to post and confirm your best course of action wrt the N244. :)
