Empira Notice Of Enforcement

It was used as a generalisation, not at a particular person but I removed the word as it had caused offence which was never intended and certainly not an accusation about any poster.Sadly, badly uninformed, or underinformed people still pay private parking charges and even CCJs, not realising that they can get them set aside and wiped.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I paid £257 to Empira on 7th October for a parking fine that I had not paid. Their letter date showed I had missed the '14 days to pay' but only by a day or two. On 15th October I opened another letter dated 1st October saying they were going back to court for another enforcement which would be a further £124 as I had not paid the fine.
When I noticed the letter date which was a week before I paid I was confused... or questioning?.... Why should I receive a letter two weeks after the date of the letter? This reminded me that I was surprised about the date on their previous letter as that did not arrive the normal postal time after it was dated on the letter. I cannot prove this as there is no date on the envelope.
We all need to keep a note of the date on their letters and the dates we received them.....
Since I have paid the £257 can they really now go to court for more money?
