New Marcus Bonus Rate

Just for information in case you don't know - Marcus have reintroduced a bonus rate on easy access account of 0.1% for 12 months. Not a lot but puts it up to 0.5%. You have to go online to initialise it. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the heads up. It's a great way for them to match the rate offered to new customers for those that care enough to check or consider switching.

To be fair that was posted on the bank account board, whereas the savings one is a far more obvious location to look!

I wonder if Marcus records will show lots of savers logging in today, activating the bonus and logging out again, no other activity; and if so will they be marked as being on a grapevine?

Possibly, or perhaps they are just people who check their email frequently.

Ha! I read this thread right down to Colsten' s comment, logged in to Marcus to grab the 0.1% ..... and 20 seconds later an email arrived telling me about the new bonus rate! Coincidence?
