  • Any chance you could post a picture of the SIM tray (with an sd card in shot for scale)? Could you also post the tablet model number?
Hi, the only device I have at the moment with a camera is the tablet and I have taken that pic for you, I am on the laptop now and am trying to work out how to log on to the forum on the tablet there is nowhere to do it, until I can find that I can't upload thepic. The whole thing is sending me nuts, I miss my phone and my my pc so much. Main pc at my house, where I am tonight I have my lappy which I am on and which doesn't take pics and this tablet which shows no way to log onto the forum. Laptop key board feels odd, tablet making me crazy...it's so easy all of it on a phone and a proper computer..... I will keep tying to log on the forum on the tablet

Why not simply just tell the model number? You are just overcomplicating the matter. :)
Hi, yes I didn't post it did I? I was tired and stressed, here it is now.....BAH-W09 HUAWEI Media Pad M3 lite 10
    BAH-W09. HUAWEI MediaPad M3 lite 10

    The W stands for WiFi.

BAH-L09 would be the model with the LTE module.

    Thank you.
So it is wifi only? What a shame, I wonder what the space on the right of the SD card space is for then?

The space on the right would be where the SIM goes in the LTE version, it is simply a standard size tray and on your version it is just a blank space.

Hi, I accept it is just a wifi version yes, I accept there are 'standard' trays, however that space on the right is not the correct size for any size of sim, even if the tablet had LTE capability. I have a friend who has a similar tablet and their tray is just one big space to accommodate an SD card it doesn't have 2 spaces. What a strange thing to do to supply a tray with 2 spaces and the space on right doesn't accept anything....

If it were the correct size, people would try to put SIM cards in it. :) Less plastic used having a hole as opposed to a solid piece. Who knows?
You aren't the first to be confounded by it. Others also obtained the WiFi only version and then tried to insert a SIM card into the slot.

Glad you said obtained and not bought, I would never have bought a wifi only tablet !!  Ah well so there it is. Thank you to you, and to all who have replied to this thread, I hope it helps others too.
