Arggh! Garage delaying warrenty work

I thought you said it was a commercial third-party one?

The written warrenty I have is with garage... I remember discussing with them about it (last clutch got changed 6k miles and ~13 months previously). They said they only use approved parts which came with a 2year warrenty. 
I may be wrong with the technicalities just repeating what I was told.
This isn't the issue however already been told they have the replacement part, it's the work fitting it

Either way, they will do paid customers work 1st. Yours is costing them.

Yes exactly, so I have to wait 2 weeks now for a replacement clutch as first was faulty, as already paid and keep getting bumped to back of queue. Pretty crap 😭

So they might have to take the parts out, send to the company for warranty approval and new parts to be sent out before they can start.

Nope, they got everything and are ready to go. Brought in ombudsman and they've said to them will do ASAP just very busy atm. To me he's been quite abusive and said he might do next week if he can be bothered...

Update, the ombudsman contacted them stating my rights to them and saying I could take it away and charge them for work and miraculously it was ready later that day. 2 weeks later I get my van back 👍. Just hoping it's sorted now.
Def does pay to go to garage under trade association and will check a new one I use does.
