Has anyone ever found a comfortable bra?

Going to give them a try next time as they look great.
Nowhere near enough support for a 36F/FF.0 -
I’m a 36H and the only bras that have ever been comfortable or fitted properly have been Prima Donna bras - properly fitted by an independent expert fitter. They are expensive but I wasted so much money over the years on terrible bras (including ones fitted in M&S!) that I now just invest in a couple of Prima Donna bras a year. If you go on their website they’ll give you a list of stockists.0

Nowhere near enough support for a 36F/FF.Thanks..but no.I don't even like the look of them.I don't even think the photos of the models make them look attractive bras. They look more like bikini tops to me.For those people who do like them, that's great but they are not for me.1 -
I've read and recognised so many of the comments on here, they did make me wince in sympathy.
I'm another fan of M*rks and am currently wearing sumptuously soft too which are very good but I still find the labels uncomfortable even so.
I made 6 or 7 visits last summer to the local M & S lingerie dept. as I could neither be measured or try anything on in the shop. Each time I bought up to 10 of the fitter's best guesses and tried them on at home and made notes about the fit and then returned them to her while explaining what was wrong so that she could amend her suggestions. It was an arduous task but I was determined that I was going to have well fitting bras after having lost a lot of weight over the previous couple of years and it was well worth the time and energy.
I really think that the only way to get a comfortable bra is to try on everything that might be right because every body is slightly different and each bra is sewn individually too. I have previously had good experiences at Bravissim* but again it is down to the fitter you get and what is in stock when you are there.0 -
36DD and I like M&S - (my boobs generally stay where they are supposed to be though), but I also like them to be supported - the youthful lift /natural lift range is smooth and pretty(ish) but is underwired

M&S sports bras (non-wired) are also great (but not the twin packs unfortunately but YMMV, and I'd avoid the zip front ones unless you want a carry on style incident happening under your clothes!)

Alternatively (and this may or may not be for you) I can recommend Sweaty Betty's seamless "stamina" bras - good enough support for wearing day to day, pilates (more comfy than than a bra with hooks) or spin, but since becoming a 36DD rather than the 36C I was for ages they're not quite enough for running more than about 1k...

Haven't read the thread (sorry) but for me it's Molke. Not moneysaving, but the most comfortable bra I've ever tried - usually it's a relief to take off a bra, but these my boobs actually ache a bit when I take it off after such wonderful support (no wires)! They do free returns if you try it on and it doesn't work for you, and even better if you can get one from their seconds outlet.
Their size calculator is similar to the one at aBraThatFits.org https://www.abrathatfits.org/calculator.php and most definitely works for me.

If you are outside of that range, then my synpathies! Must be virtually impossible to find anything even vaguely suitable :-/1 -
Thanks @Spoonie_Turtle I appreciate the sympathy! Yes, I looked at their sizing info and entered my measurements as required (which I was familiar with as my mother was a corsetiere) but unfortunately nothing in my size. I might drop them an email to see if they do have my size, even if only occasionally or special order because as I say, they'd be great as a sleep bra/casual wear bra. Then I can save my much more expensive underwired torture bra's for more formal wear.
I'll report back if I get a reply.0 -
Never tried them myself, but The Big Bloomers Company do pull on bras up to 56E for £18.95. May not be supportive enough for day, but could work as a sleep bra?1
