Has anyone ever found a comfortable bra?

When I was the size of a twiglet and very flat chested I found that the Italian brand Cotton Club were the best fit for both bras and swimming costumes, but they were excruciatingly expensive at around £100. Childbirth and the menopause have seen me expand in all directions and my favourite bra now is a style from Primark which costs an enormous £4. First thing I did when the shops reopened the other month was queue for an age to pick up another half dozen.0

Both my mum and one of her friends had breast cancer at the same time. Plus location of the small tumours were in the same area! What are the odds?
Anyway both my mum and her friend find these bras are the best for comfort. https://tuclothing.sainsburys.co.uk/p/Grey-%26-White-Non-Wired-Comfort-Lounge-Bra-2-Pack/135733367-Grey?searchTerm=:newArrivals&searchProduct= Also do a white and black set too.
Every time my mum visits a Sainsbury’s with clothing section, she always checks these bras and buys them when sees her size in. Though need to get the next size up (if you need a 36 - get 38)Some bras have stitching in places where it rubs on scars.
Personally I get bra tops as I can’t wear wired bras as the material gives me rashes and I’m actually a 44B. Which unless I pay obscene money for- I can’t get a non wired bra. Clothing manufacturers think the bigger your chest, the bigger your cup. Yes can get 44D bras.1 -
Another one who uses Tesco sports bra's. They are the most comfortable for me.Debt free and Keeping on Track1

Oh my I have really laughed reading these comments, thank you all. I realise I am not on my own, I can't see my feet when standing and if I dropped food by accident it would never land in my lap.
I have tried most brands, and the perfect bra still eludes me (unicorn). Marks do a good job and they wash well.
I think women who are larger in size should invest in a new bra more, when it is fitted properly it does take pounds off you when those puppies are pulled up. Finding a small independent shop can be invaluable for getting a good fitting bra.
I keep telling my husband he is missing a trick as he adjusts the straps on all my new bra's, (having previously worked in industry moving massive machines), he usually replies that he is only interested in adjusting mine!!
@Jude57, I'm at the pre-meno. state and the thought of mine getting bigger is worrying.
@Bluebell1000 maybe try a smaller shop, I find they carry stock you would not find in chain shops.MFW - 01.10.21 £63761 01.10.22 £50962 01.10.23 £39979 01.10.24 £27815. 01.01.25. £17538 01.03.25 £14794

one of the first things I did after an inheritance was try to get better fitting bras - no joy.
I did even visit Rigby and Peller - an expensively useless visit.
I've been meaning to BOB properly and try again, but all the fittings I've ever had have said the straps ought to be way tighter than I can cope with, and generally I find it too tight around the band too.Signature removed for peace of mind2 -
Try Bravissimo. You can do a phone consultation and they're very good at returns/exchanges should there not be a shop convenient to you. I'm an unusual size and they are great. My other favourite is John Lewis. No, you're most definitely not on your own!3

Nowhere near enough support for a 36F/FF.

The sizing goes large enough and there are no underwires. Probably worth trying for those who are looking for a solution as they offer free returns.
Besides which people of other sizes also have this issue.1 -
