- Managed a run this morning, felt like a long one as it was a route I hadn't done for ages, but turned out not to be as long as I thought.
- Did my duty with checking church flowers; only one arrangement needed much doing. Vacuumed and polished in church.
- Watered greenhouse.
- Checked and emailed report, 1 left to do.
- Wrote a huge list of what I want to achieve this weekend.
- Wrote another list of 'categories' for a photobook Mr N and I are planning about 'The Covid Years'.
- emailed some friends who are coming to stay in August. Entailed a lot of research as we are doing part of our trip to Buck Palace gardens with them by bus rather than tube. Plus having either a takeaway or outside Mexican meal after.
- Wrote summary of yesterday's Zoom lesson.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -
Washing Hokey Cokey resulted in laundry being dry enough to iron, not that I have actually ironed it.
Not sure what I posted last but online work & homework has been marked, commented on and processed appropriately. A third of the reports are complete, of the remaining reports they each have a third done, so I'm pleased with that. Bed stripped and remade, its warm and sticky though so the fan is whirring away and I have my metal water bottle which was in the fridge to chill before being filled with chilled water, instead of my carafe and glass (from the Fairtrade catalogue) by the bed.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I got a report one time for Boog with 3 different names which were all the wrong ones, Moomin got one with the wrong name two years running.. weirdly, the same child.. The date of birth was wrong on Boogs too. Tbh I wish we got a full and honest depiction of what my children were like in class, with their peers and their attitude to learning.. I have kept every report from all the children..
Kind of fixed my nails.. I haven't been able to afford to get htem done so I have boring nails but they are salvaged.
Washing is up to date, pots are all sparkly.. I desperately need some motivation to fling some junk!

One thing we now do is have photos added to the report...it takes a little time but they do look good.

Morning xx
I've made my bed, sorted the washing, and first load is swishing. First brew has been savoured.
I'm sure my eye had a fresh bleed this morning - a black line shot from top to bottom of my eye which was a little concerning. But it's disappeared now and it took Boris's leg with it!!!!That corner of my eye is now clearer than it's been for months. I so hope this is the beginning of the end of the eye saga....but I don't want to count my 🐥🐥🐥 before they 🐣🐣🐣 🤫
Another brew is required. And toast maybe?
Love, hugs, sticks, fluffy mules, and assorted coping strategies are waiting by the door if you need/ want to help yourself. And a barrel of pickling juice for my fairy flylady godmother ❤
Enjoy your day

Washing hung outside on the airer, ready for a quick snatch in if it rains. We seem to have avoided the much forecast rain and thunderstorms, so still waiting for the air to clear a bit. I paced the WAC yet again last night, as the air was so sticky.
Just finished my book - this is getting a bit of a habit, thank goodness a friend lent me a pile otherwise I might be truly bankrupt by now!
Fingers crossed that Boris has seen the light, so to speak, and disappeared for good.
Have a peaceful day all xx8 -
