And the naughty: I finally gave in to months of temptation and ordered the portfolio version of my journal. Will have to be my last treat for a little while. Can't wait for it to arrive so I can set everything up. OH is wanting to get the massive !!!!!! hedge taken out of the garden (it is ma-hoo-sive and hated by neighbours as much as us and we can't keep it under control) and I really want to get the bathroom done, so a bit of forward planning on the house will be happening in new journal.0 -
lol @anjyeah I knew you'd understand! I've been checking fedex updates all day. I've also ordered an A2 wall planner for 21-22, which will obviously make me magically more organised and on top of things!Choose kind1

Is it a Paper Republic portfolio, @Hazelnutty? I've got the XL portfolio in green on my wish list...0

Yes it is @Forging_Ahead ! I had the pocket voyageur in petrol (the one with the orange strap) and loved it but lusted after the portfolio ever since it came out (for the pockets)Choose kind1

£30 and a half-square paid off the CC today, courtesy of a Quidc0 cashback on my home insurance and a nice run on Pr0lific
In less good news, I took a tumble down the stairs on Wednesdayluckily I am well-padded so the main legacy is a truly massive bruise on one cheek lol. I am blaming Plusnet as the only reason I was going down the stairs, laptop in hand, was because I was chairing an online meeting and the wifi is so rubbish in my study! Nasty ding in my laptop, but fingers crossed it seems to be working fine (my laptop is my life - it has all my work and writing on it so it's my precious, the one inanimate object I'd save in a fire)

@beanielou thank you
the bruising is a nasty dark purple colour and no doubt will head to green soon ugh! OH and I were planning to go for a run somewhere nice on Saturday but I'm not sure wobbling this massive bruise IYSWIM will be a good plan!
So I saw the fee-free BT piece on MSE and decided to go for it ( I did the eligibility check for the HSBC MSE-only offer and got 95% so pretty low risk). My reasoning is it'll buy me about 6 months more to clear the CC before remortgaging, and applying now gives me a clear year before the bank will be perusing my credit file (my LTV is luckily very good, under 50%, so should be fine). I've no plans to apply for any additional credit or to use the new CC for any new spending. With that pressure off I can get a couple of priority jobs done on the house using my savings and still clear my debt in full before the remortgage.Choose kind0 -
