I cannot tell you what the correct link is , that should be on the PCN or website

As for the appeal , it should be adapted to suit , unless it is Lex & CEL !!
Ok i've sent it to them. What should I expect to happen next ? thank you
I would expect UKPC to reject it , meaning they will reject your appeal ( plan B ) and say it's too late to appeal , or reject it and offer a Popla code instead , plan C ( plan C is Popla )

But plan A is the best option , something that you have not mentioned

They passed on keeper details , you , as hirer or lessee , so the responsibility was transferred to you months ago

The bottom of the first post in the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum , in announcements , explains the lease or hire options
okk, so should I just email this...
No, that is not the correct template.

You need one of the three templates by Edna Basher found towards the bottom of the first post of the NEWBIES thread.

    i've already sent it
Wow! Less than thirty minutes after you asked "should I just email this...".

I am sorry that no-one was available in that time to answer your query.

Never mind, it won't do any harm, It just may not do any good.

You were supposed to be telling them in no uncertain terms that they had failed to comply with Paragraphs 13 and 14 of Schedule 4 of POFA and therefore could not transfer any driver's liability to the hirer.

Wait to see what the PPC says.
Read it in conjunction with the information you will find in the NEWBIES Announcement.

Be patient and don't rush. Make sure you understand the process you are in. Read the PoFA 2012, especially paragraphs 13 and 14.

Please could you slow down and read the NEWBIES thread post #3 about POPLA stage.

Also the point about the letter being 'old' was a joke...because the date you gave us, May 2020 was over a year ago!

You are under no obligation to name the driver.  Just ignore it and wait for the inevitable rejection and the POPLA code.  You could try a complaint to the BPA that you are being asked to name the driver as a condition of receiving a POPLA code.

Almost every UKPC appellant where a driver isn't already identified gets that letter. Ignore it, then wait patiently for your rejection and POPLA code around day 35.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Or they will give up and you can usefully spend an hour being heard to Government by completing the upcoming Final Technical Consultation about regulating the levels of parking charges from next year.

Coming soon...please check back on the forum each week as we need real people like you to counterbalance the spamming of the Consultation by the industry and people purporting to be ‘landowners’.
