Three years to get debt free

Today has been busy, but also nice.
tutoring followed by sorting some bits out. I’ve sold some bits online too and listed some other things.

I needed to visit a shop and got there and back whilst DD was out at the cinema with her dad. I’ve started to put some bits in place as well in case the review isn’t good.

Spoke to my friend today, only on the phone but we had quite a lovely catch up. Our schedules are so busy it’s hard to catch up now so it was nice to just speak and quickly update each other on the week. 

Diary filling in tonight. I’m spending time doing it most days and tracking every penny. It’s hard when you get paid mid month though so think I’ll have to do it differently next month otherwise it’s not quite right. Lesson learned with this anyway.

Unexpected £10 spend today. DD’s football bought them all jackets so he did a raffle card to raise money for them. It’s also paid for a few hours on a climbing wall for them all so money well spent. I don’t mind paying when it’s for her and experiences. 

I did sell an item and I have the stamps to pay for postage.

There’s a new bank account too with a £150 switcher fee. I’ll be starting that this week too x

The restructuring meeting was interesting. I can’t say a lot but a lot of posts are going. A lot of my friends have been told their role isn’t there. 

I’ll update over the months about it. X

Oh that’s awful, I’m truly disgusted that education is not a priority. These students have had a terrible two years to deal with. Your students require additional needs so they’re going to suffer even more x

Work is just bleurgh at the minute. Everyone is tense as pretty much everyone is at risk if redundancy. It’s not nice and people are losing their tempers a lot more easily which isn’t great. It’s understandable just not nice to feel. 

Dentist tonight and so a cost there. I got fuel too as I was a little earlier leaving the house and I’d have needed it tomorrow anyway.

Interestingly though that these hard work times have also brought people together. I’ve been asked out on a date!

Might as well face up to things on here. Work is awful. My role, like everyone’s is at risk however, there are roles that only I’m qualified in advertised only internally which means there’s only me that can get it. It’s hard because my ex doesn’t pay what he should which makes me realise how vulnerable I am if it wasn’t the case. 

On the plus side, I’ve been asked out tomorrow which was a bit of a shock. Will see what happens with that! 

Money is fine. I’m hoping to stay out of my overdraft but will need food twice before payday. DD also needs a plain black hoodie and something with numbers on. Tutoring tonight cancelled but that’s straight into my bus acc anyway so I never mix my personal money with it so I wouldn’t see it. 

Sunday is a weird day. Got something planned to help support me, don’t want to jinx it so won’t say yet. 

Two regular bills due out now and the money is there to pay for them.
