Three years to get debt free

  • Heya,

Things have been tricky at home this week, but hopefully by weekend it’ll be back to normal.

Money is in a good position. I’ve been tracking everything I spend and there’s £40 of outgoings up to now that could have been avoided. That’s the odd coffee as well as some treats for DD so hardly bank breaking.

I’m sticking to click and collect so that’s £25-£30 a week, much lower than if I visited.

Childcare costs were down £20 too due to illness. It all helps as DD needed black leggings and this paid for a few pairs. It should have been £40 but I’ve deducted that from next month instead.

Hoping to sell a couple of items but will see how that goes.

Last night after my wine I realised I hadn’t had tea. Stupidly decided a kebab was a great idea and subsequently have spent the night with a poorly tummy. I’m now nursing boiling water to replenish all the water I’ve lost. Feeling very sorry for myself.

I’d cut it in half so have binned the other half today. It was £11 so I’m not that upset about the cost. Not happy with it but it could be a whole lot worse.

Busy day this morning. DD football and I’ve got loads of bits and pieces to do.

I filed my business accounts yesterday. I’ve been procrastinating ad really shouldn’t with them. They’re done now. There’s not loads to do as Covid shut me for a few months.

Restructure starts on Monday. We have a meeting a couple of nights next week to discuss how it will look and the process.

I’m picking up shopping this afternoon. It should be around £28 so still managing that budget.

Bedding is in the wash already, dishwasher needs emptying but I’ll do that in a minute.

Had my telephone hospital appt about my back. We have agreed next steps now. I have one thing to go that should decide exactly what it is and how we will proceed with it. It’s been pushed through as urgent but with Covid that could still be a month or so away. The consultant I spoke to was great. Really honest with me about things which is what I wanted.

I’m tutoring tomorrow so that will be good as well.

    Morning,
Hope you feel better as the day goes on.
    That’s great you’re back tutoring.
It has been so windy here the felt off my shed roof has ripped off and a bit of fence blown over.
Hope dd has a good game x

  • An on and off busy day.
Football then a visit to my parents. Hoovered upstairs and down before remaking the washed bed and then did a second load of washing. All dry washing put away.

Bins sorted and picked up shopping.
I made lamb in the slow cooker which was delicious. Made me feel more human after spending the morning drinking nothing but water.

Rabbits will be cleaned out tomorrow after I’ve done tutoring.

Also need to do the ironing.

Had an offer on an item for sale. It’s slightly lower than I wanted however, it’s a good offer. I’m going to wait till the morning to decide. I had two offers within a minute of each other!

Now time to relax for the evening. I’ve been doing lots of things to plan for the future. Things are starting to make progress x
