Is it worth rocking the boat to ask for increased child support?   I know sometimes it best leaving these things trickling along as is rather than bring attention to it

Probably best not to. There will be other ways I can try and save.

If you’re still employed are they paying you ?

I can’t believe how much food has gone up in the shops.

Yes, which is obviously a relief.
No, me either. I was buying boxes of chocolates as stocking fillers, but they are ridiculously priced. Just very very grateful to have some vouchers and managed to save throughout the year again.

I can't believe we are heading into December next week.

I put my tree up this week as DD loves decorating it and we have a lot of busy plans over the next few weeks. Outdoor decorations will wait until the weekend, though.

My summer job asked me to help this winter, which is a Christmas bonus. I don't get paid it until the end of December, but it has been earned and now just waiting.

The new conservatory roof has been completed and the crafting shed is being insulated in a few weeks (using the extra earnings). Then just to furnish it as DD wants to have half of it to craft in as well.

Decluttering has slowed down due to buying in presents, but this will even out when I get rid of them!

Christmas is at my house again this year. I don't mind as I hadn't done it for years before this. I have some plans in but also hoping to have some relax days too.

Hope everyone is doing ok and managing. Cost of living in creeping in and the adverts asking for help are really heartbreaking. DD and I always try to fill up the food bank trolleys at the supermarkets. DD is amazing at making the money go as far as she can.

    Take care x
