    Hello,

    Quick update:

All okay. DD and I got back from Spain last night. We went to Torremolinos. It was beautiful and we had a lovely time.

Still having lots of tests to find out some underlying health difficulties, but making progress and getting regular check-ins with the drs. Surprisingly, on holiday, I didn't have any difficulties.

DD going away with school for a few nights in a few weeks. I have some cheeky plans booked in! Then we have a wedding to go to at the end of the month so ending the month on a high as well.

Hope everyone else is ok. I am still around and reading. X

    Thanks all,

I think I mentioned that my parents had moved to Wales. We have had a few nights there this week too. Lovely weather and some nice days out.

Next week DD is very busy and away for two nights on a school trip.

Her dad has so far done zero extra days and cancelled some of his usual. He is escorting her next week on the school trip. Two nights out of 6 weeks, which is more than usual. I am grateful to be able to book in some things during that time. Having a couple of 'me' days, which is very exciting.

Lots of exciting things happening, which I will share when I am able to.

Health things will hopefully be under control soon.

    X

It's great to hear that you've have a great holiday and recent break visiting your parents - perfect weather for it.

I cannot help but think your ex will live to regret being unreliable with his daughter.

Enjoy the days to yourself next week and get well soon.

Hope your health issues get sorted soon.  My best friend has horrific migraines at home 3/4 times a week sometimes but abroad never gets one !

I think he has justified his actions with various explanations over the years. He does not see any wrong doing with how he acts. He values money over time. Always has. Always will.

    His loss, not mine.

I am finally at peace with this situation.  DD has said some very mature things to me and this has given me a sense of calmness around my own actions with her. She is growing up so quickly and often has me hysterically laughing on her outlook on things.

I am hopeful they will. I have some appointments coming up and know I am receiving the best care. Feel like I am on the final stretch now.
