Today did not to to plan. Shop one was fine, but in ship 2 the card was declined so it ended up on my debit card. I'd misheard the total from shop 1 and didn't have enough. It's annoying bit I Still have money on the card.
I did manage to buy a lot of presents and have pretty much finished DD, my extended family, the teachers and two of my immediate family. DD just has one present left and my family don't have that much. All teachers, and teaching assistants are covered too and her Childminder.
I've also managed to put them in the loft so DD doesn't see them.
I stocked up on some food and cleaning items too. I've got enough of some items to last me until January at least. XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Morning,
I have the new car and already started to pay bits off. I'm sorting it to a level that in January I will be starting the year fresh with the car and the money where I want it to be.
I have two debts. The car and the mortgage. I'm allocating fixed amounts to both of these and also splitting some spending money for DD and I as well as savings.
It's taken a long time to get to this point. It doesn't feel real either!
I've bought all the little wrapping up things for Christmas too, and planned the wreath making that I do every year for my sister and her friends.
Pay day is on Friday and I know which bit I'm overpaying this month.
My mortgage is due up in two years and I have a plan to reduce it by 30k to enable me to afford the current interest rates it would go to.
My energy bill is coming down as well thankfully. Not by much, but a reduction is a reduction. I've only had the heating on once recently. It just hasn't been cold and when we've had an afternoon of being cold, we've put the log burner on and it's heated downstairs. My air fryer must have saved me loads too.
I'm off to drop DD at her dad's before gardening and then going to see my auntie. She's not well at all.
Have a lovely Sunday xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Sounds like everything is going in the right direction. Well done. £30K in 2 years sounds very ambitious to reduce your mortgage by. I assume you have plans to make that happen.

Evening,
I hope everyone is well. I didn't realise how long it had been.
It's been a busy month. DD's clubs are preparing for something so there seems to be extra things booked in. I've also Still got a lot of uni stuff. I have had a huge set back with uni and it has thrown me a little.
Finances are OK. Last month ended awfully, but I've managed to hopefully bring it back. I've been very careful the last few weeks and will hopefully keep it up for the next few weeks. I've got a couple of crafting things booked in, which always makes me happy.
I've changed the car and it is much better for my back. Getting in and out is so much easier. I'm already working on overpaying.
I've been evaluating on the year. I've had some big things done in the house. The fence, decking, a new front door and other smaller things. I feel like I've done OK. We had a holiday on top of that as well. I've got lots to overpay this year and DD has a school trip to pay for.
I'm almost done for Christmas presents. A few more bits left.
Hope everyone is OK.
