Pay day today. I’ve allocated bits and pieces to various things. I was minus £325, which means my wages have had to soak that up. It’s a reason I hate being in my overdraft.
I’m looking at recouping part of this already. I’ve got £60 back so far and will hopefully have another £250 at least. I don’t know where I’m going to find this money, but I’m sure I can find some of it.I’ll save money on fuel as I’m off for the next 6 weeks. The Dr has spoken to me today and suggested I take this time. This will be another £50 minimum, possibly £75 dependant on where I go. This means I need another £140.DD needed a new coat and also a pair of winter boots. I got them both for just over £50. This money also needs to be found. So, here’s putting it out there that I really need to make an extra £350 this month to account for my overdraft and extras.Got to get this done. Decided to give myself a break before Christmas. My debts will be there in January and I’ve reached my savings goal so I need to not be so tough with myself.
I’m not going to worry about saving and paying off extra until January now. I am putting myself under unnecessary pressure right before Christmas when with work, I’ve already got enough happening. Im not going to go over my wages, but allow myself the flexibility of having my wages buy Christmas presents. My Dr has agreed I need time away so currently, I’m out until January. No point worrying about something when I can’t change it. I’ll have to make decisions in January, but until then, I’m going to try and relax.
I got DD her boots and new coat, plus she’s in a concert in January. That’s £15 for entry and £23 each a ticket. I’ve paid for entry and will buy tickets soon. On top of that, every week is donations for the Christmas fair. Today was bottles and £1 for Children in Need. I’ve just paid for next ice skating lessons too. That’s close to £100. That’s why I’m not being hard on myself! Everything is mounting up and I don’t want DD to miss out.I will be listing some items to sell though! XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Well done on reaching your savings goal. Agree about not putting yourself under pressure at the moment to pay off extra, as you say the debts will still be there in January.

I’ve been thinking the last few weeks about the loan.
Those of you that know me from old will
know it was got to pay my ex off the last bit of what he wanted but I’ve always felt it was unfair and so have never really tackled it as if it as my debt. This has continued over the last two years since having it.I have been toying with the idea of doing a money transfer onto my credit card as it’s 0.% for 12 months. The one thing I hate the most is having money on my credit card so I think i’m more likely to deal with it if it’s on there and not where it is. Plus, the 12 month deadline will motivate me to not pay interest.XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

I also hate this loan as I’ve never felt it was justified so treated it differently. I need to do something
