Oh I get you with the drinking I very rarely drink now.
Nice to have security with some money in the bank.
Relationships come in all forms and as long as you are both happy , that’s all that matters.

Materialistic things don’t always make you happy, people you love, dogs and hugs do x

Enjoy the rest of your relaxing evening x

    Thanks Parky,
he accepts me for what I stand for but it’s so unlike anyone he’s ever come across. We’re not together together but are very much apart of each other. It’s so hard to try to explain but it works for us. He’s very much able to buy me anything I could ever want but respects that my most valued thing is time. He’s all over the internet and well known in his field which is why we’re very low key. In
his field he’s famous and there’s a lot about him.

I’m happy with what I’ve achieved savings wise. I know the struggles of people, I’ve been there. My sister is there currently, I’m grateful I’ve managed to save.

I have been told again my job is insecure though. X

  • Morning,

I’m so tired today. I had a friend round last night and we sat up most of it talking about everything. We went to bed around 1am. It reminds me of my life pre teacher and how I was able to do these things and still function the next day. I’m tired today though.

Money is still ok. Same as it was really. I’m overpaying little amounts on bits and pieces. I want to start that balance in January of overpaying and saving.

I’ve created a vision board and need to update it a little more regularly to ensure it reflects what I want.

I know some of the things I put on it a few months ago have either been achieved or changed.

Not sure of plans today. Yesterday was a busy day and tomorrow will be a full on busy day.

    x

One of my work colleagues has been seeing the same bloke for 15 years but they live apart. It works really well for them as they’ve both had bad experiences with their previous marriages. Sounds like the best of both worlds to me as you’ve still got your own space.

    Thanks Sun,
I guess we’d be considered really good friends with how we are. Neither of us want anything more than what we have.

  • Morning,

I’ve not moved much this morning! We had a full day out yesterday and got home close to 10pm. DD doesn’t want to get out of her PJs today!

I’ve moved some money around to account for half term week. It’s always more expensive when DD is off. We’ve had fun though and a few things we’ve done. I’ve built in study time too when DD has asked for a chill day.

I’ve spent a little bit of my birthday money. I was pleasantly surprised I found a voucher code too so got 10% off. That will buy me a couple of bath bombs from my fave shop. I had to order online but I decided to collect from the store so I can combine getting my bath bombs with it.

I enjoy the experience of bath, glass of fizz, PJs and then watching a documentary in the conservatory with the burner on.

We’ve had some difficult family news the last few days so I’m enjoying my relax time. The next few months are going to be tough so having the moments when I can will be a welcome relief.

Struggling to get my washing dry at the minute. Think that’s common across a lot of people though.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend x

  • Forgot to add that I’ve done some Christmas shopping too. Bought some bits whilst out and I’ve seen things. All the little bits that add up. I’ve got my sister’s present too.

I’ve got one more birthday before Christmas and I’ve bought half the present for that already. Still got a way to go but I’m just grateful I’ve been able to start.

What’s on dd list this year. Is she dressing up for Halloween. Just saw lots of kids going to a Halloween party lots of home made outfits, they looked great.

DD doesn’t have a list up to now. She’s only asked for money for games.

No, she’s said she doesn’t want to dress up or go out this year.

I think Christmas will be cut back this year. X

  • Last day off today.

I did the jobs I needed to do including ironing and cleaning out the rabbits. I cut some more wood with the electric saw.

I did some studying, and then picked up some bits from a big shopping centre. It was busy in there so I didn’t stay long at all.

I got some shopping bits for DD’s lunches.

Not looking forward to going back to work but actually don’t know many people who do enjoy their job. X
