    Morning,

It’s gone so cold here this morning.
I’ve paid for the windscreen repair already so that’s done and the £100 will just replenish my account from it.

I need to do a few jobs this morning. Meeting, bank, windscreen, DD from school then try to find things to sell and earn some of that cash back. £80 is a fair bit when it comes to selling but I might be able to do it. I’ll be on the hunt tonight to see what I have that I don’t wear/use!

We will see how it goes!

Do you not have glass protection on your car insurance?  I thought all insurances included it, certainly ours has always been included and only ever needed to pay the excess which I think has, this year, gone up to £75.

I do yes. It’s £100 excess for a replacement, which mine has to be and, because of where it is, I need the wipers replacing at £44. I could have probably got that cheaper if I would have thought about it but I was on the phone and desperate to get it sorted. I think my lesson on that one has been learned.

My usual things don’t go right day. Got a call asking to pick someone up to go and get their car. Don’t mind at all but was rushing a bit. Got to garage to fix car except the windscreens broken. Not mine, although that is broken, but the one they’re supposed to be fitting. Panic stations and the only time they can fit me in is Saturday at 9am so that’s where you’ll find me!

Paid the £100 into my account so that looks a ‘little’ better.

DD needs to decorate some eggs tonight for school tomorrow so they’re all being done.

I’ve got some items to list later to find the last £80. This is all dependant on switching fee and rebate coming in the next weeks 😂. In terms of actual cash, I’ve had £100 from the £481 that I wasn’t expecting. That’s £381 to
    come in!

£66 tracked in cash back with a due date of December!!! Might as well right that off as coming in this month.

Ok, so only £381 to make sure it gets into my account in 14 days.

Water bill came today. Slight reduction but not huge and covers increase in one of DD’s clubs only. It’s better than nothing and I’m grateful for it.

Sorry to hear about all this, Willow!
I've been lurking here for a while and I think I know your previous diary  :)

I wanted to ask which switch you're expecting, I have NWest and Sant&er pending. NW is probably going to happen early June and S - based on a thread in the banking forum - takes about 2 months since the switch was instructed.

I've switched using most recent offers and they've been much quicker to pay.

I don't remember if you said what the cashback was for? Is it really December, never had one take so long?!

You DD's activity sounds nice. I'm trying to get one of my boys to write some sentences due tomorrow, I'm not very successful. 🥴
    01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0
    03.07.2023 - CC (0%) £9,859 / Loan £0 / Savings £10,110

    Hi,

Thanks for delurking. I’m waiting for n west switch. We will have to see how long it takes!

cashback is usually that long on the website I use. It comes in after about 6 months. Frustrating sometimes, but at least it’s money coming in eventually! This one is for broadband.

My old diary closed unfortunately, think you’ve likely read why.

I’m still aware of it being read at times.

    Morning,

I went back to work yesterday. It was difficult and I really felt it. I’m glad I went in though otherwise it would have been another two weeks of thinking about it.

I was reading about vampire appliances in OBL’s diary and have researched them. They take up to 10% of your yearly energy bill apparently and with my bill being so high that’s a huge amount. Last night I went round doing it and hoping I can keep it up.

It’s windscreen attempt 2 this morning.

I’m down to my last £15 in my account. I’ve not taken the extra hundred out of my savings yet. Got £55 of bills due out. Might need a fuel top up and will certainly need food. That’s £130 needed (it’s school holidays so I will need to have money to do things too).

Still due in pretty much everything 🤦🏼‍♀️
£150 - council tax rebate will sort out the money thing so 🤞🏻That comes in.

Got a couple of items to list this weekend too.

    £361 still to go!
