As I understand it, when they changed the system a lot of the documents that were scanned in had problems; weren't scanned, missing pages, etc.

They are still sorting out the back-log of messed up applications.

More recent applications are scanned, acknowledged and given a quick assessment. Easy peasy applications, executor as expected, no minor beneficiaries, preferably one beneficiary etc are triaged as good to go and get processed in days. Anything that needs further consideration or has bits missing takes a lot longer.
I was wondering how some people are taking so long and others are having there’s back in a few weeks and they all straight forward cases, do you know if it takes longer posting application or to do it online?

Sent my application  for probate of my father's  estate off on 19th April. Got email on 8th May acknowledging application  saying it could take 8 weeks. Probate granted 12th June.
Was fairly complicated involving a life time interest in a property and several beneficiaries.
