They are still sorting out the back-log of messed up applications.
More recent applications are scanned, acknowledged and given a quick assessment. Easy peasy applications, executor as expected, no minor beneficiaries, preferably one beneficiary etc are triaged as good to go and get processed in days. Anything that needs further consideration or has bits missing takes a lot longer.

Sent my application for probate of my father's estate off on 19th April. Got email on 8th May acknowledging application saying it could take 8 weeks. Probate granted 12th June.
Was fairly complicated involving a life time interest in a property and several beneficiaries.0 -
