    That's a really terrible basis on whick to make decisions. What you or anyone else considers to be "unreasonable" behaviour by the buyer is irrelevant. You've had some great suggestions to choose from. Try and pick something effective. If that's also "reasonable", that's a nice bonus :-)

    I agree with this. 
    At the end of the day when all things considered :) the person missing out is the one selling. They are the one who wants to sell something. Buyers window shop or decide to buy if they like what they see, but they can move on.
    thus is a business transaction. People get so emotionally attached to their 'house'.
    we've often moved due to work etc and our kids know that home is where the people you love are.
    Anyway, op, don't cut off your nose to spite your face. Whatever people say, the buyer can choose to walk for any reason whatsoever ever.
