I have some beans but not the right kind for baked. Also cba. 😅Lots of fish, coconut milk and tomatoes.
waiting for the good news soon!
I'm a bit envious on the cuddles but also relieved I don't have to be sleep deprived for the next 9-12 months 😆

Ah I’m sorry you had a difficult time of it SL!I really hope this one is a breeze, given that I was induced with my first and it wasn’t the most relaxing experience!!Not looking forward to the sleep deprivation but also, this is the last one (granted they’re not here yet!) so I’ll make the most of all of the cuddles ❤️Follow here for the daily life of an ADHD mum with 2 children and a new mortgage to pay

I had an elective c section with my first, I heard too many horrible stories (including the one of my birth) and was so scared. The second one was booked for a c section as well but he decided to come early. He was tiny and it was a super quick birth, still painful but at least it was over soon! I'm happy I got to experience it but I was also very lucky it went so well.01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0

Sorry for any negative birth experiences or years of sleep deprivation! Seven years - eeek!
DS was about a three day long labour from first contractions so a bit of a slog but still very positive and in the birthing pool at the hospital which I wanted. He was a poor sleeper as a baby but was sleeping decently by himself before 1 and was otherwise a cherub (still is an angel at 6! Responsible, helpful, kind, loving and compliant).
DD (now 3) was a (planned) home birth, have to say it was magical and I’d hope for the same again if we added to our family. But she didn’t sleep for 16 months (literally was still waking to feed 5x a night at that age) and only then because DH put his foot down and sleep trained her. She was and is a feisty, sensitive and spirited wee madam too so a bit more hard work 😂 wouldn’t swap her though! She’s a right mama’s girl which helps her be cute enough to get away with stuff 😅
I’d have half a dozen if I was allowed 😆 but we’re likely to stop at the two we have… maybe a third in a couple of years but only if we are in a strong financial position.Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Love the various birth stories here! We too are planning a home birth for this one and I’ve been nesting a little so I’d be pleased to welcome baby home now.We have quite a small (actually very small) support network so i don’t feel between the 2 of us and my MIL we really have the bandwidth to offer the same quality of life to 3 as we hope we can for 2. Hence our decision. That and I’m keen to start feeling like my self again, rather than just being a pregnant or breastfeeding mama!My first is a great sleeper and such a mamas girl which is just wonderful but we are hoping this one is a little more attached to dad as it will make life just a touch easier for me. That and since we’re sharing my maternity leave, things will be different this time around so baby might need to adapt rather than us doing so. That thought fills me with dread since we are very child led in our parenting but we have to make some changes this time around if we are to put us and them in a positive position both emotionally and financially in the future.Follow here for the daily life of an ADHD mum with 2 children and a new mortgage to pay
