Hello
I have combi boiler Worcester Bosch 24i and Bristan qd shxdivff c quadrato shower, which was installed in 2018.
As of this evening the boiler is not switching on when I turn on the shower.
There are no issues with hot water on any other taps in the house whether basin in the same bathroom or kitchen sink.
I also don't get any hot water from the shower even when I run at the same time hot water from the basin and shower.

IMO, only the thermostatic valve can be at fault in this case.

Unless you've done summat silly like turn off an isolating valve, I have to agree with Grumb.Assuming the flow coming out the rose is pretty good - ie it's not blocked to any significant degree - then a faulty thermostat is the most likely cause. Are you in a hard water area? Are you able to do some DIY dismantling? It's usually fairly straight forward to remove it, and you could try soaking it in limescale remover.1

I will give it a go with a help of some youtube videos. Do I just soak the whole valve or do I need to take this apart too?
Also just to double check, there is no chance it is boiler issue? I am just not sure why boiler wouldn't be turning on?0 -
I will try limescale remover then. I forgot to mention that for the last few days before the shower broke the hot water would get temporally very hot, I guess it is another symptom of issue with valve?

You only need to remove and soak the whole cartridge, not dismantle it.0

Thanks a lot, I was planning to take the whole valve off, which would require to dismantle the whole shower due to the setup. I guess if that doesn't help then I would need to buy new cartridge?0 -
Can you post a photo of the shower unit?I'd recommend leaving the valve body in place, and just removing the control knob and then the valve underneath. Assuming it's a standardish unit.0
