Paragraph 2 states that. The standard appeal was written so that you are not tempted to add too much and shoot yourself in the foot!2

Agreed, but this OP should state that they were not the driver. It's the nail in the coffin that tells NCP they can't win.
To the OP, if NCP email or write back asking who was driving - laugh! Don't tell us about it...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for everyone's help. This will hopefully be the 3rd PCN I've had overturned with the assistance on here.1 -
Thanks everyone - the PCN has been cancelled3

Further to your appeal received on 24/06/2021 regarding the above Parking Charge Notice.Your appeal has been reviewed and has been considered in conjunction with the evidence gathered by ourAutomatic Number Plate Recognition cameras, which record your entry and exit times. Having considered thecontent of your letter this notice has been cancelled. Please ensure you take into account the terms and conditions of parking, to ensure you do not receive any furtherParking Charge Notices.Yours sincerely4 -
Haha, they gave up, as we predicted.
As you have had three of these now, I am sure you have a strong opinion about the rip-off that is £100 parking charges for doing diddly squat wrong and that you would hope and expect as lockdown rues are lifted, to go about your normal daily life without such greedy crap coming your way?
Please do us and yourself (and the driving public) a favour and stick around on this forum every week - at least for the Summer - to ensure you see when the Government publish and open the final Technical Consultation.
We will be talking about it and the public will have about 4 weeks we think, to tell the MHCLG what you think about the level of parking charges, that the MHCLG has admirably decided already will start at £50 (50% discount) and not £100:
Outcome of 2020 Consultation (look what the public comments achieved so far):

Planned Summer 2021 additional Public Consultation:

It's not open yet but please keep checking back here to see when it is.
We need real people like you to counter the spamming that happened last time from the industry.

I parked at a NCP pay later parking on Wednesday 7th July, I forgot to pay for the parking within the 24hr period. It’s now Friday 9th July when I have realised I have not paid.I gave the NCP a ring and the women informed me I will get a fine of £60 as the 24hr time frame have passed (I did not give any of my details over)I am just wondering if there is any advice you guys can give me, I have not received a fine as of yet
Thanks0 -
If the NTK arrives late then follow the advice above. If it arrives within 14 days then start a new thread. It's not a fine, it's an invoice.2
