European Consumer Claims (ECC) Ltd

  • Hi Waterworld, never pay a timeshare exit or claims company that charges upfront fees, your asking for trouble. A quick check on their website shows that they are not regulated by either the FCA or SRA. Depending on which timeshare company you own with, it may be possible to give your timeshare back to your resort for free. If you haven't paid your maintenance fees for six years or more, you don't need to do anything. There are a number of companies that deal with timeshare exit and claims on google that are regulated and do not charge any upfront fees. Hope that helps.
  • Hi Waterworld, You aren't obligated to deal with Pinnacle as you are outside the statute of limitations of six years of nonpayment. Therefore, the 'debt' isn't legally enforceable. However, if you want professional advice and legal representation that puts your mind at rest, I would contact either an FCA or SRA timeshare specialist who doesn't take any upfront fees. All the best.

Also asked for one of their lawyers to provide to me in writhing what they will do and guarantee.

Can't help with your query, but that made me laugh, and should be compulsory for many lawyers.
Would a response through interpretive dance also be acceptable? :)

Despite the name, Trustpilot reviews and ratings can't be 'trusted' in any meaningful sense, but, unless there's any evidence of widespread shilling or manipulation, ought to be a representative view of what the company's customers think.  What do you think so far, and will you leave an accurate review afterwards?
  • So if you can’t trust Trustpilot ?
do you know anything about the company/ have you personally dealt with them?

I suggest you read the replies.
It seems that most people who have had dealings with this company or asked about them have never returned to the thread.

Are you already involved with this company?

Personally, I don't trust Trustpilot reviews.
