( ie: i would have to write "the keeper drove away" etc)No, definitely not. It was the driver who drove away.
Perhaps you need to think of the driver and keeper as two different people, even if they are not.

And i feel no compunction about joining in/helping any way possible to stop the general public from being duped in to giving their money to, what i can make out, lazy con men :-(I/we will have another read through everything again now, and see what changes are to be made, thanks ;-)3

"I/we will have another read through everything again now, and see what changes are to be made, thanks ;-)"Make sure that the name of the claimant in the title of the D is as stated on the claim form.4

He means you didn’t put the full name of the Claimant company in your heading. I noticed it too but then forgot to mention it so I’m glad he did!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Will do Coupon-mad & 1505grandad, am presently looking much closer at the Newbies thread, and how this all works. I don't mind being admonished for doing wrong ie: this parking error (though i think the last time might have been at school) i am just now understanding that the initial defence needs to be short and sweet i guess, and any elaboration, will be in this WS in the future?I assume i will probably never get to see a reply in time from the SAR sent, as i only opened mail and heard about any of this so late in May. Britannia having 30 days to reply, and me with about 4 days left to send in my defence. I will read up on when i need to do the WS (Bargepole i believe) Also amend/abbreviate the defence i am preparing, and decide/understand this driver/keeper situation . . . i'll get there . . . very time consuming, but hopefully worth it,Thanks again all :-)1

The template defence isn’t short. It covers all you need as long as you’ve added the facts.
Glad you are reading into it more and that you will do the government consultation once you see it’s come out, soon.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Have you ascertained who you actually contracted with as per post by Fruitcake 9th June:-"One very important thing to determine is the precise name of the PPC by comparing the name on the signs with the name on the NTK/court claim. Britannia has two separate entities with slightly different names, and different company numbers.Britannia have had cases thrown out in the past because the claimant is not the one named on the signs. IT's those car park signs that form the parking contract."4

Thanks 1505grandad, i did check on the 9th when Fruitcake first mentioned the possibility of conflicting names/numbers, but the car park at Lockyers Quay PL4 0DX was only covered on the front by the "Google Earth" camera, and the signs that might help, are all inside of entrance doorway, and not able to be enlarged upon, or even viewed.I could possibly contact friends living in the vicinity to see if they would send me close up photos of the signs around entrance way, and then look at comparisons, but the car park itself is a few hundred miles away from me at present.1

Well, with good intentions i came on here early this evening to add/work on my defence etc, but having thoroughly read through the newbies thread, and the posts therein, i am amazed at how many of these parking fees/fines/invoices whatever they may be, there are every single day.So many different situations and differing circumstances, it makes for amazing reading. Been on Pepipoo as well, and i think the other was CAG? I noticed many of the same members names form here, also on those sites.Needless to say, i have done a whole lot of nothing on my own situation, but learnt an awful lot, which has been good, and will come in very useful, when i try once more tomorrow . . . Sorry for the little chat/observation ;-)4
