Free Water Filter Fridge Jug RRP £15

Got mine OK. I'm not sure whether I've got the thing working properly or not though. I assembled it as per the (fairly basic) instructions, but when I fill it at least half of the water seems to be getting past the filter and running down the outside of the filter instead of through it and out of the hole at the bottom! The filter doesn't seem to be a very tight fit when I attach it. I'm fairly confident that I located the seal thing as it should be.
Has anybody got any ideas?

As an upfront cost they seem expensive, but it works out at a few pence per litre of filtered water - vastly cheaper than bottled water in shops.

And more importantly, each filter is saving hundreds of plastic bottles from being produced, huge amounts of fuel being used transporting bottled water to shops all over the country, and freeing up space on our motorways!

Had mine a few days ago and it arrived a day earlier than expected
