I was supposed to make my last loan payment for this month by settling it earlier but instead I put that money in premium bonds to try my luck.Good choice or bad choice ?Saving goal for BTL mortgage - 28600 / 60000 ( July 2021) , 37600/60000 (December 2021) , 39300 / 60000 (august 2022) , 41000/60000 ( January 2023)0

I think premium bonds are a reasonable thing to put money in. It's not like the lottery so you don't use your stake money and if you win then that's a bonus. I buy a couple a month - I've never won anything but the total invested is growing. Savings interest rates are so low it doesn't hurt to have the premium bonds ticking away.Well done on the fakeaway. It's quite fun thinking up new menus. It's the last night of our little trip away and we are planning fish and chips. The queue was massive - about 20 people ahead of us. We'll go back at about 8 when I suspect that the town will be deserted ⚽️1
