Blackcats said:MissRikki isn't it interesting how we can change behaviours when saving money but need to create new habits. So instead of spending on bananas for a cake you used what you had. One of the amazing people on the forum calls this shopping from home and it saves a fortune! In the past I wouldn't just have bought bananas I would have bought the cake and probably biscuits! I once spent £30 on a rainbow cake from a posh supermarket - I literally bought a whole cake from the coffee shop 😱. It was a beautiful cake and very yummy but seriously .... no wonder I had no money.
loveactually - weekend is going well so far. Home made pizza for tonight's fakeaway. Even better my OH is making it!We had homemade pizza too Friday then sausage Ragu with garlic bread last night. We haven’t not had a take away for as long as I can remember at a weekend and this weekend was hard. My hub asked me twice could we have one which makes it harder to say no as it’s not him doing all the extra work to sort stuff out. That said, I’ve agreed to a chippy dinner this Friday 🤪Follow here for the daily life of an ADHD mum with 2 children and a new mortgage to pay
