Is this ok for an engagement ring?

Hi, I've bought an engagement ring to propose to my girlfriend. It's a Pandora brilliance 0.15 carat ring and cost me £250. I know it's not much but it's all I could afford and I know she will be happy with anything, but do you think it's ok? I think it looks lovely. Here's a link:

I didn't look at the ring but the answer is yes, of course it's ok. Getting engaged is nothing to do with rings and getting married is nothing to do with expensive weddings. As long as the fundamentals are there then nothing else matters.14

That ring is very nice. Good luck2

I also did not look at the ring - if you know she will be happy, why does it matter what the ring costs?
I am sure there are better thing to spend money on to start your lives together than a ring.
Have you checked her ring-size, that it will be a good fit (physically to her finger)?
Good luck and may you have many happy years together4 -
Thank you both, I guess these days materialistic stuff gets the better of me and I see people proposing with £1000-1500 rings.0

If you love each other and want to spend your lives together, you don't really need jewellery - I'm sorry you don't think £250 is much. I'd be highly delighted to receive such a lovely ring. Sadly, society has put many people in a position where they feel they have to pay a fortune so they can demonstrate their love. It really isn't necessary. Having said all that sensible stuff, though, I AM a big romantic at heart and think it's really wise of you to keep within your budget but manage to come up with such an understated but beautiful item. Your girlfriend is very lucky and will be delighted! (But if she isn't, please don't be afraid to send me a private message and I will happily take it off your hands (pun intended).)
