Has your total ownership of the two ovens exceeded the single warranty timescale yet?  If not, it sounds like you have good cause to demand .. something.  Perhaps ask a board guide to move this thread to Consumer Rights board once you have exhausted the technical possibilities here.
No it can't have as I only got the first oven in October 2020. thank you!

turn everything off at the mains. leave it for 10 minutes. turn it on again and the display will be flashing, input the settings you want, if you mess it up press reset. when you finished it should flash up 'ok' . if it still no good call the engineer and tell him to sort it.

I've done that a couple of times already. Thank you though, time to ring the engineer (again).

I have no good words to say about the Lamona built in ovens either.  We have a double which was replaced after about 3 months because the smell, which is supposed to disappear in a couple of days of use was still as bad as ever.  The engineer's guess was that the material used in the lining hadn't 'fused' properly.  The replacement took about 3 weeks to get rid of the smell too.  Setting timer is a pain in the **** and the alarm is so quiet that I've missed it going off even when I'm in the kitchen.
To add to the annoyance, it isn't the oven I ordered.  The kitchen spec was modified a couple of times and AEG specified, but I missed the fact that the Lamona had reappeared on the final order.  We were on holiday when the kitchen was installed so couldn't correct it at the time.

Well I'm definitely not impressed either. Sorry you've also had issues!
