Happy New Year jokono. 🙂Good luck with completing Adriene’s 30 day challenge. I have done a few but not in the last few years, maybe I should try again this year too as I do enjoy it.
You’ve paid a massive amount of debt off so I think it’s fair enough to cut yourself some slack.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -

Thank you Sashy!
The under 30 minute videos are a big incentive for me, I found it very hard to commit to 50 minutes of yoga, I could never do that during the week.01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0

@leftatthetrafficlights Happy New Year! We posted at the same time and I didn't see yours until now.
How are you getting on with Adriene? I've done the first two days and I realise how out of shape but also stiff I am, it's hard sitting up even on a yoga block! I really want this to be the year I complete the challenge and I hope I can sit up with my heart open without the help of the block by the time it's done.
Mr JKN is vegan this month, which is great because
1. he's a more adventurous cook and enjoys cooking while I don't, so I will have more interesting meals AND
2. I won't have to cook too often, yay!
The downside is I might put some weight on. He enjoys the process of cooking more than he enjoys the eating and his portions are always big; I don't like wasting food so I might find myself eating everyhting rather then binning left overs.01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0

Hi Jokono I don't like waste either. Perhaps dish a portion up for the freezer first and then share what's left. You've always got a ready meal then when you need it? V x1

Day 3 of yoga challenge done and again I realise how out of shape I am, my thighs were killing me.
First day spending money this year - I went into TKM4xx to get some wellies, couldn't find any cheap ones and the pricey ones weren't even that nice. But I did find 2 bras on the sales rack, one for £1 and one for £2.50! They are different sizes and I think I need the one in between but I couldn't leave them there. The voice in my head was saying 'don't buy something just because it's reduced' but I could not listen to reason. Full confession - I tidied my underwear drawer a few days ago and noticed how many lovely bras I have but rarely wear. 🙈 I have no excuse.
Went into boots to get some flossers with points. Came home and ordered wellies online. Still have half the weekly budget left with 1.5 days to go. I intend to put all of it in savings tomorrow night.01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0

I've just reached the £50 threshold on ylive. It will be Feb by the time they pay out, but still great.
