@MissRikkiC it's hard knowing when to stop, isn't it? I try to focus on smaller goals now, just to keep me going.
@leftatthetrafficlights hello, good to see you here! 😊 None of the interviews will be going futher, I'll keep looking.
And vegan food is so cheap. I think the yeast flakes are the most expensive thing I'm buying now (per weight), but they're totally optional.01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0

I made a dhal at the weekend and I feel like all I've done on Sunday was wait around for the beans to boil. I don't have the space or the budget for a new gadget, but I am seriously considering buying an electric pressure cooker, either during black friday or wait for boxing day. I might just use tinned beans until then. Ideally I'd like a multi function one to include air frying, but I don't want to part with that much money. Buying them separately might also work out cheaper, but then there's even more gadgets to store.
Two days until my weekly budget resets and I have managed not to spend any of it yet. I'm going to park at Sains later to go to the library and I will spend some money on spices and fruit. I'll use some of the left over to buy tickets for a fun race - Boy2 declared he wanted to run a kids marathon 😄 so we found something local and convinced Boy1 to join us for a 1km run. About £5 will go on falafel for lunch tomorrow when I'm in the office and the rest will be paid off the loan.

I totally relate to the point around PCs but also wanting an air fryer. I have a stove top really one style PC but I’d love a ninja!Follow here for the daily life of an ADHD mum with 2 children and a new mortgage to pay

The loan is in the £3,200s! 🎉 I can't wait to get rid of it, I started planning all the ways I'm going to save starting March.
That was the good update. The bad one is I had a sort of interview for a job I was really excited but it seems their budget doesn't match my salary expectations, quite a bit off and would involve a pay cut which I'm not willing to take.
I've spent the last 15 minutes eating my feelings and now I'm feeling rubish.01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0

Thanks @EssexHebridean I keep telling myself that but I don't always believe it. Mr JKN's company is laying off people and there is a chance he might be made redundant. We shuld find out soon, but in the meantime I am grateful for my safe job.
In better news, I re-started matched betting and did really well this month, the loan is now in the £2800s and I have paid over £1700 of debt this month. I am on target to pay off over 50% of the debt I started the year with, and this feels great.
I started thinking about goals for next year, but I'm not setting any yet until we know about Mr's job. 🤞01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0
