Natwest sent me a text a week or so ago saying the money was on the way and should be in my account by the 9th. Should've just said ON the 9th.

Cashed out £5.10 from prolific and sent it to cc, it's now down to £312.95. That's 49p short of being £100 less than it was 4 days ago.

The lost vinted shoes are apparently making their way back to me. 😒 Hopefully they'll be here soon and the buyer will want to buy them again.

When I was leaving Ald! last night I noticed they had a 1.5h max stay, I might have been slightly more than that.  😬
Well, last night I came home to a £15 invoice from the leasing company for directing a parking fee to my address. Parking fee letter still to come, I'll try and send an email to Aldi see if they can help cancel it.

In better news, I had a lovely day yesterday. Work was not too busy, I had the falafel for lunch and no other spends as planned, finished the week with £11 left in the budget. I'll leave that in my main weekly budget pot (separate from the spending one) and see where I am at the end of the month, I might not increase the budget to £110pw after all.

This morning I sent £10.57 bank rewards to the CC, £302.38 left on that one, it's progressing really nicely. I realised that after this month's DD went out my debt is under £20k. It feels huge, I always looked at each loan/cc individually and it makes it seem less bad. But overall I have paid 46% since May/June last year, that makes me feel a bit better.

I am currently leasing a car and I never counted it as debt but more like a monthly bill. I drive an electric car and until recently I didn't feel like I wanted to commit to buying one with technology changing all the time, and they have changed, the cars available now make me think I could buy one. When the lease ends in Oct 2024 I will go for buying, there might even be good second hand ones by then. I was thinking yesterday that after the loan is paid (estimated July 23) I will continue paying the 0% cards just over the minimum and start building a deposit for a car. It will mean I won't be debt free for a while but I know what I'd be paying for? Still lots of time to ponder.

£7.20 from prolific and £4.90 from roamler paid to cc, £290.28 left.

Work's been quiet today and prolific quite... prolific, did lots of surveys this morning.
The roamler job was fiddly, lots of walking around the shop taking pictures and looking at labels, I don't think I'll do that kind of tasks again.

£5.38 cashed out from prolific, £284.90 left.

We had a super busy weekend. Mr JKN decided yesterday he wanted to refresh the kitchen, so £110 later and lots of work (mostly him) we have bright white walls again and the glossy white cabinets are now matt grey. I only did the cabinet doors, he did everything else bless him, went to bed at midnight.

Boy2 woke me up at 5.30. I had a lie in yesterday morning and considering husband worked until late Iast night I had to come downstairs with the little one. It wouldn't have been to bad but I had an 8 mile race at 10am and I was so tired, I didn't get to enjoy it that much. Then we had guests, I am shattered. Good news is our guests offered to look after the dog the week we're away, that will be great money saving 👍

£6.89 paid to cc from the bay, £278.01 left.

My phone cashback was finally confirmed, unfortunately £20 less than it should've been. Not the first time it happened with currys transaction but this time I queried it, I hope it won't take another 6 weeks to correct it.

Well done on querying the lower amount. I think they gamble on people sucking it up and it’s just not right!

Looking at Currys reviews on TCB, it might be that the difference is VAT which they don't offer cashback on but I couldn't find anything in the T&C, we'll see what customer service has to say.

    Thanks for confirming @MissRikkiC!

It's been a very quiet couple of day money wise - I keep checking my bank accounts, survey sites, budget sheets and of course nothing changed since 10 minutes before when I checked last 😆

I didn't spend anything on Monday but yesterday I had to pay £1.50 for parking when I went to the library and community larder. I normally park farther and walk for 5-10 minutes but I didn't have time yesterday. It's the first time I pay for parking since starting going to the larder, and I hope the last one for a very long time!

This morning I went to t3sco to send a vinted parcel via inpost but all the lockers were full! 😠 I got some meat+veg meatballs for tonight while I as there and some more fruit and veg. I love their meat + 30% veg range, a good way to get more veg into my meat loving boys. That t3sco used to be my regular shop but since a lidl opened close by I rarely go there. They got me back with this range, not for big shops but still.

So yeah, now I need to go to a different inpost locker and we're also seeing a house at lunch. We want a bigger house as Boy2 has half a bedroom (box room) but I think the best for us would be to extend to the side. We're not in a position to change house yet anyway but Mr wants to see it and to be honest I want to see it too but I'm secretly hoping it won't be as good as it looks in the pictures. Based on price it shouldn't be, it has 2 more bedrooms than ours but doesn't cost a lot more.

House was nice but I wouldn't buy it even if I could. Mr said he would move in tomorrow and live in the kitchen. 😂 The kitchen was indeed great, the pull out larder is something I'll keep in mind for our future kitchen. But the stairs to the loft bedroom were very steep, I wouldn't like going up and down them every day. Also, because the way it was extended, the lounge and small bedroom/office weren't getting much light.

Money wise I cashed out £6.30 from prolific and sent to small cc, £265.34 left and there's still about £7 pending. I've chased a lost vinted parcel - AGAIN - and I finally got a refund, £25 expected in my bank account tomorrow. I also sent a £1 t-shirt today. I've rejoined life points and spent any spare times doing surveys today, I got enough points to get £5 in paypal, it will probably take a few days to be processed.

TCB confirmed the difference is the vat, so now waiting for the money to be payable. That £104! This card will definitely be wiped out next payday.
