DCBL disputing transfer if liabilty

Hi People can anyone give me abit of advice please as I transferred liabilty for 3 parking tickets over 5yrs ago as the tickets were issued to my ex partner who had parked my car in a carpark which she assumed was derelict (I am non the wiser myself how she assumed this) anyway I responded to the parking firm at the time of receiving the tickets and provided my ex partners details for them to contact her. I never heard anything back from them and to my knowledge she never had contact from them either. DCBL have recently contacted me chasing payment for £480, I have responded to them advising them to contact UKPC as I transferred liabilty over 5yrs ago. DCBL have now replied saying I only responded to one ticket 2mths after the date of issue and never responded to the other tickets? Well thus is not true at all as I responded to all the tickets as they were issued within a few days if eachother. I even sent recorded delivery to ensure my response was received but because of the time past I no longer have the proof of postage.
I'm not sure what to do as I have no way to proof I responded to all the tickets anymore.
It's ridiculous they are now contacting me 5yrs after the tickets were issued.
Do you think if I request a Sars form from DCBL it might help? Least I could then maybe see the history log UKPC have for these tickets?
I've had 9 letters from DCBL in 2mths repeating themselves for payment and threats to go to the High Court. I have seen many posts advising to ignore letters however I've never been keen on ignoring letters personally especially. Any help would be appreciate folks. Thanks Nige

Always worth submitting a SAR (not a SARS - you don't want that, ask Auntie Google) as you might receive the transfer of liability slips that you sent to the parking company, (not DCBL), although it wouldn't surprise me if they claim they didn't receive them.  You can safely ignore letters from debt collectors but you should not ignore a proper letter of claim.  You can see the difference if you read the NEWBIE sticky.  Is it DCB Legal or DCB Limited?

It's important to know which dcb you are dealing with , ltd or legal

Any SAR is emailed to the DPO at UKPC , not dcb whatever , so neither dcb , only UKPC , with copies of 2 recent redacted utility bills as proof of I D under the GDPR law , data protection

UKPC have 6 years to issue a court claim pack from the CCBC in Northampton , it's been that way since 1973 and is defined in the Limitations Act 1980 !! You may not agree with it , but facts are facts !

Bear in mind that once you get the SAR reply you can send a letter plus an email to the claimant and transfer liability to the driver , anytime up to as court claim being issued ( you could copy in dcb as well into this transfer of liability to the driver )

Can you tell me please should I request Sar from ukpc or dcbl? If they say they never received anything from me I cant prove otherwise due to the time past
I got letters from Dcbl ltd, the letters state final reminder.
I'll have a look for the newbie sticky you mentioned.

You submit your SAR to the parking company - in this case UKPC, as advised here Today at 10:38AM <<<<< LINK

There's no 'form' you request from UKPC, you send a Subject Access Request, using the template linked in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, second post, which will help you to request all information UKPC hold about you and the VRM of your car.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Even if was you, which it's not, the charge of £480 is a FAKE by DCBL.

Have a read of this dedicated DCBL thread and the DCBL SCAM
DCBL letters ... forum group thread
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6237177/dcbl-letters-forum-group-thread#latest

Judges will often use the words .. "On the balance of probability"
DCBL admit that one of your letters was received and there is no valid reason why you did not send all 3 letters. = "On the balance of probability"

Hopefully, UKPC can provide the info with your SAR.   Sad to say that UKPC is a well known fraudulent company who were caught out doctoring time stamps on pictures.  PLUS, Covid has caused them huge problems and now they are trying every route to claw back money.

Such old tickets are timewasting for the courts and as DCBL will not actually know what happened 5 years ago, any claim will fail.
DCBL know this and are hoping you are a mug and just pay them.  You don't owe a penny so ignore begging letters and ignore the scary tactics they use ...... "Enforcement bailiffs" and their mickey mouse TV programme "can't pay"

PLUS there is no HIGH COURT, all they can do is take you a county court where judges are sick to death with this type of rubbish.

So, no need to phone or contact DCBL as it will give them a fake orgasm that you a mug.

Before they can take you to court, by law they must send you a "letter before claim" giving you 30 days to respond

Begging letters from DCBL Ltd are pointless and timewasting

As it's dcb ltd , debt collectors , stop corresponding with them , it's futile , you cannot rogue with morons

Email a SAR to the DPO at UKPC like I told you earlier , with proof of I D , but not your passport or driving licence , utility bills or similar is ok. Use the template SAR , no forms

When you have the reply containing all the PCN references and total number , email UKPC and transfer the liability to the Driver , under POFA , followed up with a letter too , getting proof of postage from the post office counter , keep everything safe this time
