I won't be touching this, if I'm desperate for a Yorkie its easy enough to make my own.Doc_N said:From latest Which? review:

But I am happy with the Aldi ionic hairdryer, good value at £25 and does the job well:

Lidl are selling an ironic hairdryer but it’s only for bald people.Rosa_Damascena said:

I can now also say the Caramelised Biscuit version is even more Scrummy than the Choco one, with cinnamon and caramel flavours and soft mousse outer around the sponge cake...we have one of each in the freezer for Christmas. and if should see any left next shop I might just find the need to buy another one😁harz99 said:Heads up, for those looking for an alternative to Christmas Cake and heavy Yule logs this Christmas, Aldi have two frozen gateau which are cake with filling covered with mousse at £2.89 each, claims to be 8 portion but 4 or 5 generous portions more like it, page 41 of the Christmas food catalogue refers...yummy, based on our already devouring one choco version😁2 -
I bought some maple syrup (as opposed to maple flavoured syrup) in Lidl this afternoon - at 250ml for £2.10 I couldn't resist, its so much cheaper than the Deluxe I bought last time. It is a Polish brand found in the seasonal aisle.

thanks for this - I'll have a look. I've only seen the flavoured stuff in the middle aisle and normally bought the proper Canadian stuff that is near the jams. Didn't know that maple syrup was a thing in Poland!Rosa_Damascena said:I bought some maple syrup (as opposed to maple flavoured syrup) in Lidl this afternoon - at 250ml for £2.10 I couldn't resist, its so much cheaper than the Deluxe I bought last time. Lidl has increased the price of their shortbread fingers from 85p to 95p
. If I were an optimist I would expect this is just for Christmas but somehow I doubt it. No man is worth crawling on this earth.

. I also bought a nice winter candle (510g jar) found in the middle aisle for £2.99, and 2 packs of their extra special mince pies whilst on offer (a just-about-tolerable £1.49/6 rather than the usual £2.49). Shortbread aside, it went to my parents and I was able to serve them a pie each without even thinking about warming one up for myself.
Of note I overheard an elderly couple instore saying that Lidl had become too expensive. I hadn't actually noticed until I fancied a shortbread finger
