Given what exported energy is worth, why are the SEGs on offer so low? Surely someone could offer a 10p rate, attract lots of PV owners and still make a big profit on the 'turn'?I think....1

Do Octopus give you a break down and total of what you're paid per day for export?

Is that what you actually earned Or what they were paying?
I'm after what I've been payed for my export.
I've only been with Octopus for just over a month so haven't had a bill yet.
I could work it out from my own data but wondered if they give you a daily/monthly total?4.3kwp JA panels, Huawei 3.68kw Hybrid inverter, Huawei 10kw Lunar 2000 battery, Myenergi eddi, South facing array with a 15 degree roof pitch, winter shade.0 -
@EcoScruples You get a page on your bill for each day of the month, graph at the top of page for a visual of the days rates and your export then a listing of each of the 48 time slots with your results. Totals of that days payment, total kWh export and average rate in pence for the day is also given.
I then get a further 30/31 pages as I'm on Agile for supply too, similar sort of pages. Imagine if that was a paper bill each month!

No that makes sense, I can see why it takes so long to bill us perhaps.
I can wait, I do like a lot of detail in my stats.4.3kwp JA panels, Huawei 3.68kw Hybrid inverter, Huawei 10kw Lunar 2000 battery, Myenergi eddi, South facing array with a 15 degree roof pitch, winter shade.0 -

I can wait, I do like a lot of detail in my stats. Here's the best example I have so far from Octopus:
6.4kWp (16 * 400Wp REC Alpha) facing ESE + 5kW Huawei inverter + 10kWh Huawei battery. Buckinghamshire.2 -
Finally got my commissioning documents -MCS, DNO and wiring plan. DNO has approved for 8.8KVA export ☺️
Just filled the form in for SEG with octopus. Hopefully will move to octopus in the future.
