Google Pay wants me to call NatWest to varify my card. Does anyone know what happens when I call them?

Are you sure you used the correct CVV?0

I was at the Tesco scan and shop till when I realised I had forgotten my wallet. I rang home and got Mrs RG to text me my credit card number and I signed up to Google Pay on my phone in 5 minutes and was able to pay for the shopping. NatWest texted me a confirmation code. I guess I would have been able to phone them if required.

I added the card directly from the NatWest app so didn't need to imput anything and it still wants me to call them. I have also tried it the normal way through Google Pay itself and it still wants me to call them.colsten said:Are you sure you used the correct CVV?

Use the card for a chip and pin payment then add it. You shouldn't then have to ring. It will just be a text or something to activate on Google pay.0
