Thursday- 3 rings lady answers hello is at work private boarding school, on her break in dining room, presenter says please don’t hang up.  Presenter says really happening is cash register call, sit down to lady and has lady had her lunch and is not going to throw up. 

  Presenter asks lady reason for entering, lady got some money take early retirement, presenter think and lady agreed not deal with students at boarding school. 

  Presenter to lady must accept first answer, exact amount, lady gives £65,000, presenter think said have word with your boss taking early retirement, she does not have to wait until 65, you’ve just won £65,000. Lady unbelievable, take family holiday, Christmas

cat.martin@bauermedia.co.uk    about it  asking  her  stop using the recaptcha grids  altogether if its happening to you do the same

This (despite the numerous requests not to post comment on it) is posted on the competition thread instead of the chat one.

If you keep getting the recaptcha wrong it will keep going/repeating, and that includes not following any instructions correctly.

The system is run by Google and helps to keep automated entries out

Friday- Hits radio presenter said a problem playing today’s call, but her show has ended at 4pm and call not played.

i click on  all images as requested   but instead of  submit it  says next  this  happens  for next  4 grids   the fifth grid ive click on the only possible answer s  yet it rejects  ,  you if says three taxi  and it can only be three and it rejects it

it  then goes back  to 4 grids  giving  the next instead of submit  and the fifth fails again  and  this pattern repeats

on the  fifth  go its rejecting  a grid when youve picked the only obvious answers

i can see why trying to suggest its me at fault  ,  but  i  can not  enter the first grid  if its not offering submit  once the boxes have been ticked

Thanks Comping Rich for managing to pin down when today’s cash register was played and providing the link. 

  Just a very quick summary of today’s call:
  4 rings lady picked up, works in a school office, spending this weekend going for walks with kids and think she said dogs.  Lady gave correct £70,000 and won, kids would love to go to Disney, love a new car, pay off bills.

I have found that using the same IP address for a large number of entries within a short space of time will increase the captchas and they become more complex (next a lot, fade-out repeating etc). Using a VPN (which generates a new IP address for the connection) tends to revert the algorithm to a few random captchas for a while and if they start increasing again, cancel the VPN and then re-connect the VPN to generate a new IP address. Works for me. If that does not work you may have to try a different browser or if you are using a mobile device, try it from a desktop PC (I've found mobile/tablet entries for these types of comps to be REALLY a pain at times).
