Hi Abbafan, I might be in the minority but I cannot always tune in when they announce the next day’s amount the evening before. I have found it really useful on the occasions this week when cash register amount has been announced earlier that the amount has been posted on the chat forum.

Then it should be posted on the competition thread and not posted twice once here and once there - (that's not my opinion) but it does show the other decision to be even more of what some users said it was at the time but are not allowed to repeat.

Hi mjm, when I post the call update and the presenter states they are going to announce next days amount around 5pm, if I was listening around 5pm I definitely would on chat page just state amount given and leave it to Comping Rich to post the amount after the breakfast show. 

  Abbafan was only being kind and helpful

Thursday- 4 rings lady answers hello, presenter today’s cash register call. Lady think said can’t believe it, at work. 

  Presenter must accept first answer, exact, how much is in today’s cash register. Lady gives £135,000, presenter first thing lady do if won, lady cry, happy cry with relief think said really struggling at moment car keeps breaking down, bills
 Presenter to lady you are £135,000 richer, lady emotional says almost didn’t take call as I was about to get out of car, oh dear, children not even bought them a Christmas present. 
  Presenter- at 5pm will reveal tomorrow’s amount 
   After playing a few songs - presenter today’s winner - lady winner has 4 grown up kids, not think about Christmas, is self employed courier car keeps breaking, working till 9pm think said delivered 350 parcels

Doesn't bother me, it can be handy, it's the lack of a consistent approach by the (not allowed to say) .... ended with the ultimate reason for stopping the way it was done  "Because I'm a board guide"

Hi @Bridger12 thank you for that.

I don't always have one of the participating stations on, so don't always hear what the next day's amount is myself.  Like you said, I was only trying to be helpful.  No disrespect to anyone, but you sometimes get shot down for doing that.

I think it's fine to post here if you hear the following days amount announced as we're talking about a lot of money and it's a good belt and braces approach to be sure we have the correct amount listed the following morning.  

I, when I remember to, listen to the amount announced at 8am to verify the value on the main thread is correct.

Friday- 1 ring presenter says from cash register, lady no way oh my god hello, sitting in car doing school run oh my goodness gracious me. 

   Presenter says get call over before lady picks son. Presenter asks lady how much in cash register, lady gives £140,000,   

  Presenter asks lady Christmas change if won, lady not go to work time off, 2 children think said 1 is 2.5 years. Presenter says to lady you’ve just won Christmas cash register, lady oh my god, really are you serious, oh my goodness me, oh my god. Presenter you’ve  just won £140,000, and lady get a tissue and sort herself out. Lady, thank you very much think said I love you

  Presenter - 5pm today will reveal Monday’s amount
