Someone on here once said your type of heating Is similar to burning £20 notes in an open fire to keep warm.
If rented move out as soon as possible.
If purchased or you are committed to stay there for a while then. You need to do as advised get a single rate tariff / one standing charge, and the cheapest rate you can get.At some point you will be forced to turn your heating on and it will be very expensive.
And keep your hot water timings to a minimum. Time to be hot when required, rest of time off.
