Also one thing i noticed is they haven't written my first name on the claim form, it only has my middle name and surname, now i don't have my logbook to check the name as i scrapped the car in 20180

Any time from day 5 to 19 after the Date of Issue of the claim letter (N1) in order to maximise time available to submit a Defence.Shoaib121 said:Shall i do the AOS today

I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Yes, why not?Shoaib121 said:Shall i do the AOS today
On 14 May at 12:43PM I wrote on your thread...With a Claim Issue Date of 12th May, you have until Tuesday 1st June to file an Acknowledgment of Service. As @Le_Kirk says. do not file an AoS before 17th May, but otherwise there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.2 -
When you login to MCOL to acknowledge the claim and do the AOS , you can add the correct name into a box , so do so1
-
And do i add the defence or just a AOS0
-
Just complete the AOS online , nothing else , once it's been done then MCOL is only used as read only , for progress reportsShoaib121 said:And do i add the defence or just a AOS
Going forward , it's all emails , no post , no MCOL website submissions , so emails only
Just because other options are there doesn't mean you have to do them !!
Due to the pandemic , it's all emails now2 -
Have you read the guidance?Shoaib121 said:And do i add the defence or just a AOS
Particularly the bit in your very own thread on 14 May at 12:43PM...To file an AoS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread. And then that very same post goes on to say...
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.3 -
I am sorry it doesn't list all the things you do not do.

Does anyone know if there is a way to change my username on this forum as there is a reason for it0
-
Yes, your username can be changed if there is a good reason.
To help with that, have a read of this item from the Forum's FAQs:Can I change my username?
In most circumstances, we don't allow this.
The only reason we will change your username is if it puts your privacy at risk e.g. you've inadvertently registered using your name, email address or something which gives away your identity within your username.
If you fall into this category, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com your current username, the email address you registered with and three alternative usernames in order of preference.
