2). It is admitted that the Defendant was the registered keeper of the vehicle in question but liability is denied. The identity of the driver at the material time is unknown to the Defendant. The Defendant is unable to recall who was or was not driving on an unremarkable day nearly 3 years ago.
3). The Defendant was issued with a Claim Form by BW Legal acting on behalf of the Claimant Napier Parking Limited for a Total amount of £256.84. Through research the Defendant has come to understand that this relates to a PCN that was issued against the Defendant’s vehicle ******* nearly 3 years ago on 16/05/2018 at Willen lake north carpark in Milton Keynes

Still no facts, you need facts about the event. Start again, the example you were pointed to is wrong for you because you DO KNOW about the PCN:around 4 years ago i received a ticket from a private company called napier parking, kept receiving letters
Don't pretend you don't know who was driving if you know about the PCN (Napier will probably be able to hold you liable as keeper anyway). So, let's go back to basics - what was the PCN issued for? What happened when you discovered it on the windscreen, or was it posted to you later?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The pcn was issued because i didn't pay for parking, I'm sure i didn't have any coins to pay the parking but it was a while ago i can't remember, so couple weeks later i got a PCN by post, me being silly i just decided to ignore it, i kept getting letters and eventually they stopped, only few days ago u received a court letterCoupon-mad said:Still no facts, you need facts about the event. You did not change paragraph 3 in the manner described earlier. It was not a PCN , read the claim form POC , Napier issued an FCN , either for £80 or more likely to have been £100 , by post , which is the one that you ignored ( foolish to have done so , it invited a court claim to get the FCN invoice paid within 6 years , especially in a pandemic )
So change PCN to £100 FCN , if £100 was correct ( we know that £121 has say £21 interest added )
The examples are there to get your brain in gear , to focus on the truth , but those examples were not Napier examples so are not matches
So 2 is an example that says that the defendant was Keeper and driver but liability is denied , find one , copy it
3 is what you said with my small changes made £100 FCN , ( £100 Fixed Charge Notice )
4 describes what coupon mad said above , so look for examples by any company where it's paid for Parking , like NCP , Britannia , etc
Less than 40 minutes after my earlier reply you posted a copied example , probably from a HIGHVIEW thread , but 40 minutes time is much short to have read a dozen different court case threads involving say 5 Parking companies , then lifting relevant sentences or paragraphs2 -
Do you have any links to what posts recommend me to readRedx said:You did not change paragraph 3 in the manner described earlier. You can search as easily as me , it's the same search box and it's your case , so you find themShoaib121 said:

What I will say is that we have had dozens this year alone , probably over a hundred since covid struck last year , I don't keep a list , few people do , but it's how I know that you did not do so , because 5 different parking company examples would take far longer than 40 minutes of your time to research properly , but you have 4 weeks to find them
I give everyone facts , no fear or favour , based on what I read here daily , like reading a daily newspaper , but I don't keep a record of what is in each newspaper and I have never had a private parking charge or court case either !! Most of my knowledge has come from here over the last 8 years
So no , sorry , no links , except for the recent ones I posted , or members names that were posted
Your claim , your homework , not mine , or do what Napier did and hire expensive lawyers which will cost you more that the claim. DIY means plenty of work and putting a shift in1 -
I think you are going to struggle to defend if you didn't pay...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I don't even mind paying the original amount of the fine but the anount bw legal are charging is too much, do you think i should still write a defence0
-
A typical loss in Court is between £175 and £200 , the PCN plus legal fees and court costs , so it's unlikely to be much lower than say £150 or more
It's either pay or write a defence , the choice is yours1 -
Ah I'm stuck now might be best to just pay bw legal those stupid crooks and next time i shall not make a mistake like this again0
