Non dependent on pip and working

Can someone clarify, if my daughter takes on a little job and she on PIP do I still get deducted?  She’s 21 years old.
I’m not on any disability benefit, just income support Ctc and I’m their carer . I have 2 children which are on disability benefit.

We’re just trying to work out our finances and haven’t found a answer to this. We know if she doesn’t work I don’t get deducted because of her being on PIP but I can’t find anything about being on a disability benefit and working a few hours.

Thanks guys!

There will be a non dependant deduction if you're claiming housing benefit. How much that will be will depend on how much she earns, if it's less than £149 per week then it will be £15.85 deduction per week. https://england.shelter.org.uk/housing_advice/benefits/housing_benefit_deductions_when_living_with_non_dependants

    Deducted from what?
Income Support and Carer’s Allowance are not affected.
If you are claiming Housing Benefit the fact she gets gets PIP makes no difference. There could be a non dependant deduction depending on her circumstances. Does she claim any other benefits?

For Council Tax Reduction you would need to look at the rules for your local authority.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

OP. It would be worth you using a benefit calculator to see if you would be better off claiming UC. if you are getting extra money for a disabled child in your CTC you may not be. When comparing amounts with a benefits calculator bear in mind that UC amounts are due to reduce by £86.67/month (£20/week) in October.

On UC the fact that your daughter gets Daily Living PIP would mean that there would be no non dependant deductions from the housing element even if she is earning.

Does your daughter get a means tested benefit herself or is PIP her only income?

But not now? If I'm wrong hopefully someone will correct me but if she's no longer receiving UC then you will need to inform the HB department. A non dependent deduction doesn't apply where the non-dependent is aged under 25 and receiving UC with no earned income. If this doesn't apply then a £15.85 per week deduction should be made from your HB (2020 benefit rates). This applies even if the non-dep receives PIP.
The rates of deduction depend on earnings. See https://england.shelter.org.uk/housing_advice/benefits/housing_benefit_deductions_when_living_with_non_dependants (which is the same link as posted by calcotti)

If she is only working a 'few hours' then why has she come off Universal Credit?

Sorry I feel I need to explain myself again.
Daughter on universal credit and pip
offered 20 hours a week job with possible overtime
I thought as soon as she got a job there’s no universal credit?
and we wanted to know if her pip made any difference to the non dependent deduction.

im still on the old system income support housing benefit ctc. I’m also a carer for her and my little son.

As I’m not on universal credit I don’t really know how it works.
Course I’m happy for to get a job she can cope with, but obviously need to know if I’m gonna have to pay more rent top up etc.

If she works then as the link states there will be a deduction from your housing benefit, how much that is will depend on how much she earn per week (see link)
Has she been assessed as having limited capability for work for UC? Id she hasn't then her earnings will reduce her UC by 63% because of her earnings. If she's been assessed as having LCW then she will be able to earn £512 per month before the deductions apply.
Once she starts work she needs to report the changes onto her journal.
